African Union Commission Youth Division
YMAU VI recognizes the African Union Commission’s Youth Division, through the Women, Gender and Youth Directorate, as a co-organizer. Africa has the youngest population in the world, with more than 400 million young people aged 15 to 35. The Division advances youth participation, leadership and development inside continental policy, including the African Youth Charter.
A non-profit youth-led organization that works on agendas affecting Africa, with the goal of increasing youth engagement while educating young people on Agenda 2063, the SDGs, and the AUC Youth Initiative 1 Million Next Level (education, employment, entrepreneurship and inclusive youth engagement).
