Venue Announcement: Yale Model African Union VI to Take Place at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia —
The Yale Model African Union (YMAU) is thrilled to announce that YMAU VI will be hosted at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from March 15-17, 2027.
Delegates will debate and deliberate on the continent’s most pressing political, economic, and social issues at the seat of the institution that anchors continental affairs. Holding the conference at the African Union Headquarters brings the simulation into direct proximity with the work it is modeled on, and gives participants an experience grounded in the setting where Africa’s collective priorities are shaped.
YMAU extends its sincere gratitude to the African Union for opening their doors to YMAU VI. The opportunity reflects a shared commitment to Pan-Africanism, youth leadership, and meaningful engagement with continental affairs among the next generation of leaders.
